Centre Henrik Zetterberg was 26 years old when the 2007-2008 season began, his 5th in the NHL, and played it for Detroit Red Wings. He played 75 of a possible 82 games and scored 43 goals and 49 assists for 92 points, 1.23 points per game. He won the Swedish points race and finished 6th in the NHL. He also won the Swedish goal race. The season ended with Henrik Zetterberg winning the Stanley Cup with Detroit Red Wings against Pittsburgh Penguins, after 22 playoff games and 27 points. He also won Conn Smythe Trophy, the first since Nicklas Lidström in 2002.
