Centre Mario Lemieux was 26 years old when the 1992-1993 season began, his 9th in the NHL, and played it for Pittsburgh Penguins. He played 60 of a possible 84 games and scored 69 goals and 91 assists for 160 points, 2.67 points per game. In the playoffs he played 11 games for 18 points. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the first since Anders Hedberg in 1985. He also won Hart Memorial Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Ted Lindsay Award, the first Swede ever to do it.
