Left winger Markus Näslund was 29 years old when the 2002-2003 season began, his 10th in the NHL, and played it for Vancouver Canucks. He played all 82 games and scored 48 goals and 56 assists for 104 points, 1.27 points per game. He finished second in the Swedish points race and finished 2th in the NHL. He also won the Swedish goal race and finished second in the Swedish assist race. In the playoffs he played 14 games for 14 points. He won Ted Lindsay Award, the first Swede ever to do it.
