Left winger Mats Näslund was 25 years old when the 1985-1986 season began, his 4th in the NHL, and played it for Montréal Canadiens. He played all 80 games and scored 43 goals and 67 assists for 110 points, 1.38 points per game. He won the Swedish points race and finished 8th in the NHL. He also won the Swedish goal race and won the Swedish assist race. In the playoffs he played 20 games for 19 points. He won Stanley Cup.
