Centre Wayne Gretzky was 19 years old when the 1980-1981 season began, his 2nd in the NHL, and played it for Edmonton Oilers. He played all 80 games and scored 55 goals and 109 assists for 164 points, 2.05 points per game. In the playoffs he played 9 games for 21 points. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Hart Memorial Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it.
