Centre Wayne Gretzky was 29 years old when the 1990-1991 season began, his 12th in the NHL, and played it for Los Angeles Kings. He played 78 of a possible 80 games and scored 41 goals and 122 assists for 163 points, 2.09 points per game. In the playoffs he played 12 games for 15 points. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, the first since Mats Näslund in 1988.
