Centre Wayne Gretzky was 32 years old when the 1993-1994 season began, his 15th in the NHL, and played it for Los Angeles Kings. He played 81 of a possible 84 games and scored 38 goals and 92 assists for 130 points, 1.60 points per game. Los Angeles Kings did not reach the playoffs. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, the first since Mats Näslund in 1988.
