Centre Wayne Gretzky was 21 years old when the 1982-1983 season began, his 4th in the NHL, and played it for Edmonton Oilers. He played all 80 games and scored 71 goals and 125 assists for 196 points, 2.45 points per game. In the playoffs he played 16 games for 38 points. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Hart Memorial Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Ted Lindsay Award, the first Swede ever to do it.
