Centre Wayne Gretzky was 22 years old when the 1983-1984 season began, his 5th in the NHL, and played it for Edmonton Oilers. He played 74 of a possible 80 games and scored 87 goals and 118 assists for 205 points, 2.77 points per game. In the playoffs he played 19 games for 35 points. He won Art Ross Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Hart Memorial Trophy, the first Swede ever to do it. He also won Ted Lindsay Award, the first Swede ever to do it.
